Visit to the National University of Uzbekistan
As part of our week-long trip to Uzbekistan, our FAU delegation had a fruitful visit to the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
The visit began with a meeting with Professor Raima Shirinova, Vice-Rector for International Relations, where we discussed avenues for cooperation and joint academic initiatives between our universities.
Following this, our group met with representatives from the Faculty of History, including Professor Alisher Muminov, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Akhmadjon Kholikulov, Head of the Department of History of Uzbekistan; and Professor Zamira Ishankhodzhaeva, also from the Department of History of Uzbekistan. Together, we discussed our shared interests and the continued development of our academic partnership.
An engaging session between the history students of FAU and the National University of Uzbekistan was also held at the Faculty of History, allowing for a meaningful exchange of perspectives and ideas.
